Work Progress
The combination of sound elements (Speech / Dialogue, Sound Effects
and Music) provides an aural environment that supports the action and
engages the audience. However, no music is required for this
exercise.
I recorded the dialogue by using my phone. I tried to record one by
one and also tried to record 3 tracks only for each
character.
Record dialogue with the phone.
After finishing recording the audio and downloading the sound
effects, I started compiling the film and sound pieces in Adobe
Premiere Pro. Volumes of the dialogue: between -6dB & -12dB, ambience:
below -20dB, Hard sound effects: Depend.)
Final Outcome

Classroom exercises
The process of color correction and color grading in Adobe Premiere Pro is as follows:
Color correction exercise
Use color to edit the workspace:
Switching to the "Color" workspace can be done by selecting "Color" in the
"Workspace" from the "Window" in the top menu bar.
Open the Lumetri Scopes window:
Select "Window" > "Lumetri Oscilloscope" from the top menu bar.
In the open Lumetri Scopes window, right-click and select "Parade RGB" and
"Waveform Luma" to view the RGB and brightness information.
Adjust basic correction Settings:
Open the "Lumetri Color" panel, which can be found in the "Colors"
workspace.
Make the following adjustments in the "Basic Corrections" section:
- White balance: Correct color deviation by adjusting the temperature and tone slider.
- Temperature and Tint: Used to adjust the cold and warm tones of the picture and balance the green and magenta tones.
- Saturation: Adjust the intensity of a color.
- Exposure: Adjust the overall brightness.
- Contrast: Adjust the difference between light and dark.
- Highlights: Adjust the brightest part of the picture.
- Shadows: Adjust the darkest parts of the picture.
- White (Whites) and black (Blacks) : Adjust the brightness of the brightest and darkest parts respectively.
Color grading
Add a new adjustment layer to the project panel:
In the Project panel, click the "New Project" button and select "Adjust
Layer".
After setting the parameters of the adjustment layer, click "OK".
Drag the adjustment layer into the new video track:
Drag the newly created adjustment layer from the project panel onto the
new video track in the timeline, making sure to cover the segment that
needs to be color-graded.
Make various adjustments under the Lumetri Color panel:
Select the adjustment layer and then make the desired adjustments in the
"Lumetri Color" panel to get a specific look or atmosphere.
Toning process
You can use fragment 3 as a reference when making color adjustments:
Select segment 3 in the timeline and adjust the exposure, highlight,
shadow, contrast, and other parameters.
Make a note of these Settings, then apply the same adjustments to the
other pieces to make sure they are in the same tone.
Workspaces and Settings
Workspace: Effects:
You can choose "Window" > "Workspace" > "Effects" from the top menu
bar.
Open the Compare mode and Lumetri Scopes window:
The comparison mode can be found in Program Monitor and is used to compare
the current frame with the reference frame.
In the Lumetri Scopes window, select "Parade (RGB)" and "Waveform (Luma)"
to monitor the effects of your adjustments.
Through the above steps, you can complete the task of color correction and
color grading in Adobe Premiere Pro to ensure the color consistency and
visual effect of the video.
